Time to decide
You’ve decided High Brake House might be the residential care home for you. So what’s next?
We ask you, or those helping you, to get in touch for a chat about your individual needs. When we know we can help; the next step is to come and look around.
We welcome you to come and stay for a while. Get a feel for the place, see what you think, and see how our family can care for you and yours.
Call Hannah or Sofia on 01200 538110 to arrange a visit.
You’ve decided High Brake House is where you’d like to be. Now we visit you to carry out a pre-assessment. This can be at your home, in hospital, or wherever you are. If you’d like, you can even come to us for half a day, to see how you get on in the home setting.
During your pre-assessment, which usually takes just under an hour, we talk with you, and your family, about your personal, health, wellbeing and emotional needs. It’s also a chance to get to know each other too.
If everyone is happy, a move to High Brake House is agreed, a date put in the diary, and we put your personalised care plan in place.
If you’re planning ahead and would like to go on our waiting list, please contact Hannah or Sophia on 01200 538110.
We want High Brake House to be your home. Any personal effects you’d like to have in your room can be sent to us ahead of your arrival – this might be bedding, ornaments, pictures and small furniture. Our team are here to put everything in place for the day you move in.

When you arrive, we will be here to greet you and help move you in. You can go straight to your new bedroom, or into the lounge to meet fellow residents. There’s no rush – you can choose to do whatever feels right for you.
You’ll soon be making new memories and new friends, at High Brake House.
